Paper … It’s easy to say Paper!

In Florence there is an ancient tradition of paper processing, do you know why?
The first to use this particular technique were the Chinese and the Japanese.
The custom was to cover the boxes of goods from oriental markets with decorated papers. When they arrived on the western markets, they attracted the attention of many artisans.

In Florence, in a few decades, a real excellent processing of paper developed, renaming them marble papers.
We will present you how a marble paper is born.

This is our video for the Sant’Agostino Bindery, strictly in Florence.
